Hello Again, Friends.

Well, it has been quite some time since last I wrote. If you wondered what happened to my wonderful writing, I guess I will tell you. It was a mixture of a couple things actually.

One, me writing and sharing this blog put a huge target on my back at the auction house. Yes, it was my fault having Harris Brothers Auctions share my blog on their FaceBook, but I wanted my message heard. I learned my lesson.

Two, in a way, because of reason number one, I found myself holding back. If people that frequent the auction house were reading my posts, they were gaining my knowledge for free. They didn't have to put any work or thought into decisions they normally wouldn't even think about making. What? Basically this, I write about Monster High Dolls telling you they are good, well, the person reading my blog would have never gave those dolls a second glance. Now, they are bidding against me.
"But Ben, aren't you writing this blog to spread knowledge and help others make money?" Yes I am, but not for my competition. If they so happen to find me again because they are looking, so be it. I will not however share my writing on the Auction House FaceBook.

Lastly, time. Time, time, time. There is never quite enough time is there?

So, I will do my best to write two posts a week. I think that is enough knowledge for you to handle. Also, I think you will be happy to read my blog from here on out. Why? Because I have been pretty much forced to buy a plethora of different items. There is a new toy buyer at the auction house and he over pays for everything. Technically he has helped me rather than hurt me. He has forced me to branch out even further and look at items I might not have in the past. So, not only do I still make money, but I make him pay out the nose for as much as I can. He refuses to lose to me, so I will sometimes go more than double past my limit for an item or lot. A lot of bidders will get upset at the practice of "running up" the bid but here is my defense. The more he spends, the less he makes or more he loses. My hope is that he runs out of money, and sooner rather than later.

That's it for now. The next time you read this, you will learn something I promise. What will you learn? All about this:

Yes, that is exactly what you think it is. A 1980's Detroit Lions Starter Jacket that you used to own that your mother probably donated to Goodwill. P.S. It's better than you think. Until then, Keep Your Eyes Open!
